Open Water Referral - Option B Joining Instructions

Thank you for your booking. You will receive a confirmation email, which will confirm dates, timings and location. The confirmation email also contains a link which will guide you back to this page.

Please take a few minutes to read through the details below as there are a number of tasks which must be completed in advance of the course start date.

1. WHAT TO DO IN ADVANCE
  • Read a current copy of the PADI Open Water Diver manual.
  • Please read thoroughly and complete the five knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter.
  • You must also read the RDP study guide and learn how to use the RDP.
  • Watch the PADI Open Water Diver DVD's

Failure to do so will prevent you from starting the course.

Please download, complete and bring along the following forms:

Form 1 Medical form
The medical form needs to be signed by a doctor if you answer YES to any of the questions.
Please keep a 2nd copy of the medical form for your log book

2. LOCATION, TIMINGS, PARKING & ACCESS

Location:

London Scuba is located behind

Rabys Barn
Newchapel Road
Lingfield
RH7 6LE

Rabys Barn is directly opposite the Blacksmiths Head Pub.

Please ensure that you print off a map for London & Surrey Scuba Centre.

Please ensure that you arrive on time; we recommend that you arrive 30mins before the start of your course to hand in all paperwork! Failure to arrive on time will prevent you from starting the course. We strongly recommend that you check public transport / travel arrangements in advance of your journey.

The course is scheduled to finish at the advertised time, however due to students learning at different speeds the course may over run.

Timings:

  • One full day course - 10:00 - 18:00
  • Two evening weekend course - 18:00 - 22:00
  • Three evening midweek course - 19:00 - 22:00

Parking & Access:

  • There is ample parking inside.
  • Access is through an electronic gate.
  • There is an intercom to the right of the gate, push the London Scuba button and one of our team will buzz you in.

  • Five completed knowledge reviews
